Terms of Service
Effective date: April 10, 2026 · Last updated: April 10, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using BrickOps ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use BrickOps. These Terms form a binding legal agreement between you and BrickOps.
For questions, contact us at [email protected].
2. Eligibility
To use BrickOps you must:
- Be at least 18 years old, or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher.
- Have a valid BrickLink seller account and comply with BrickLink's own Terms of Service and API Terms of Use.
- Not be prohibited from receiving services under applicable law.
3. Description of Service
BrickOps is an independent order management tool that connects to the BrickLink marketplace API using API credentials you generate and provide. BrickOps allows you to view and manage your BrickLink store orders, run picking workflows, and monitor inventory — all through your own BrickLink API access.
BrickOps is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the LEGO® Group or BrickLink. Your use of BrickOps does not alter your relationship with BrickLink or your obligations under BrickLink's own Terms of Service.
4. Your BrickLink Credentials
- You are solely responsible for the BrickLink API credentials you provide to BrickOps. Do not share credentials that belong to someone else.
- We store your credentials encrypted in our database. See our Privacy Policy for details.
- BrickLink may revoke, rate-limit, or otherwise restrict your API access at any time. BrickOps is not responsible for disruptions arising from BrickLink's actions regarding your account or credentials.
- You may delete your credentials from BrickOps at any time from the account settings page.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use BrickOps in any way that violates BrickLink's Terms of Service or API Terms of Use.
- Attempt to access, modify, or delete data belonging to another BrickOps user.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of BrickOps.
- Use BrickOps to scrape, harvest, or bulk-export data in ways not intended by the Service.
- Transmit malware, spam, or otherwise interfere with the Service or its infrastructure.
- Use BrickOps for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
6. Pricing and Billing
BrickOps is currently in beta and free to use. Paid plans referenced elsewhere on our website are not yet available. When billing is introduced, existing beta users will be notified by email at least 30 days in advance and given an opportunity to export their data before any charge is assessed.
All pricing is subject to change. We will never charge you without prior notice and your affirmative acceptance of updated billing terms.
7. Termination
By you: You may close your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected] or through your Clerk account settings. Upon closure, your BrickLink credentials and picking session data will be deleted within 30 days.
By us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to BrickOps at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or are using the Service in a way that harms us or other users. During beta, we may also discontinue the Service entirely at our discretion.
8. Disclaimers of Warranty
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
BrickOps does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components. The Service depends on the BrickLink API, which may be unavailable, rate-limited, or changed at any time without notice by BrickLink. BrickOps is not responsible for inaccuracies in data received from BrickLink.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, BRICKOPS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
IN ALL CASES, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO BRICKOPS IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) $10 USD. DURING THE BETA PERIOD, THIS EFFECTIVELY MEANS OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO $10 USD.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BrickOps and its operators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of BrickLink's Terms of Service; or (d) your infringement of any third-party rights.
11. Intellectual Property
BrickOps and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by BrickOps and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not use our trademarks, logos, or branding without prior written permission.

13. Privacy
Your use of BrickOps is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which BrickOps is operated, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
[Note: Governing law and venue are placeholders and should be confirmed with legal counsel before public launch.]
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify you by email (via Clerk) or by displaying a prominent notice within BrickOps at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
